'The 1793 Hotwells Oil', the oil actually displayed in the Anti-Room in 1793:

Turner exhibited 3 works in the 1793 RA Exhibition as shown in this extract from the catalogue*[1].

• The Maiden Lane address shows that this is JMW Turner.
• Note that there were other 'Turners' exhibiting.
• JMW Turner was just eighteen and at this stage he was not a significant contributor.
