Rev John George Patton (c1864-1948)

Congregational Minister at Swanland, 1929-1946, Yorkshire.

Patton is of interest in the provenance of 'Avon Gorge and Bristol Hotwell' (Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, K816) which he sold to Bristol Museum in 1925 as 'Hotwells House'.

Patton acquired the watercolour from Mrs Hannah Stark Fussey (1893-1921).
