March 1793 Turner delivered to the RA Exhibition: A watercolour No. 316 which he (Turner) called 'Gate of St. Augustine's monastery, Canterbury'
March 1793 Turner delivered to the RA Exhibition: A watercolour No. 323 which was 'View on the river Avon, near St. Vincent's rock, Bristol' (but catalogue title transposed with 263)

Notes on the chronology

*[1] 23rd April 1775 is the generally accepted date. In early biographies this was not universally accepted. Miller quoted 1769:
This is wrong. The W Turner who exhibited 'Dover Castle' was an entirely different Turner living at a different address.
