On the right Turner's watercolour (D00389) - definitely at 'St. Vincent's Rock' (an overhanging rock and dome rock with a little hump on top) looking towards the riverbank. Painted 1791/2.

On the left the newly discovered oil - beyond reasonable doubt the same 'St. Vincent's Rock' looking from the riverbank out towards the river. Painted 1792/3.
This rock complex does not appear anywhere else. It appears that Turner invented this rock complex to dramatize 'St. Vincent's Rock'.
The oil must be Turner's work.
