Obituary of Rev. James Douglas; died 5th November 1819

The FreeReg record does not show the parent's names. The marriage took place at St. Marylebone, (London). The only Oldershaw in Rochester in 1780 who had previously been a surgeon in Leicester was James Oldershaw (c1717-1782).[FreeReg Record - burial of James Oldershaw]

Shows his surviving family as a wife three sons and one daughter. The wife must be Margaret; the daughter, Margaret Martha Whiteman Douglas; the sons, James Edward Moreton Douglas (1794-????), Richard William Glode Douglas ('Glover' in FreeReg) and ...James Bruce Douglas (born 1785) but Douglas Archive records [view] show he died at age 1.
