Note the 'flashbacks' to 1779, 1778 and 1782 before writing that JMW Turner started working on the Walker commission in the summer of 1793. (After the 1793 RA Exhibition in which JMW Turner exhibited an oil).

This timing is consistent with Finberg shown in the preceding background information.
