This Norris was definitely from Hughenden.

John Norris (1774-1845) of Hughenden

An 1888 sale (recorded in CF Bell) of Porch of Great Malvern Abbey, Worcestershire' shows that an inscription was written by Norris on one of the pair of 'Great Malvern Abbey' watercolour-drawings in that sale (lots 78 and 79). John Norris died in 1845 (his will was published 18 Nov. 1845 - National Archives). His (widowed) daughter, Lady Caroline Young (1813-1871) inherited a lodge and a life tenancy on the Hughenden estate. The estate was sold (possibly lock, stock and barrel) to the Disraelis in 1848). There is no trace of this Malvern Abbey pair until the sale of 1888. [Malvern Provenances Table]

In respect of 'Porch of Great Malvern Abbey, Worcestershire' thought to be John Norris of Hughenden but could be Thomas Norris (1765-1852). John Norris (1774-1845) in age 20 in1794 (his father was also John, (1721-1786)

It seems Thomas had no connection with Hughenden. The 1888 catalogue specifies Hughenden so this suggests that John was the writer of the inscription.
