Looking for sales by John Clow (retired to Smedley's)
Lots 89 and 112 seem to suggest a link between Clow and Preston via Wallis. Wallis also provides a connection between London sales & exhibitions and Preston. Preston died in 1860 so at the time of these sales would be building his collection. It seems that Preston bought 112 at this sale but not 89.
